My name is Shannon Heyder, and I'm thrilled to join the AOS team as the Director of Sales. My backstory is pretty straightforward: I grew up in Newmarket, moved to St. Catharines to attend Brock University, and instantly fell in love with the Niagara Region and its community. I’ve been here ever since!
My experience at Brock was exceptional. I studied Sport Management, played varsity volleyball, and made many impactful connections. It was actually one of my professors who introduced me to my first job and the world of sales, and there was no turning back. I’ve always loved the opportunity to connect with clients, build relationships, and find solutions that help them achieve their goals and objectives.
After nearly 8 years of selling promotional products, corporate apparel, and printed items, I realized I wanted a role where I could blend my love of coaching with a mindset of continuous improvement to lead a team. In 2020, I embarked on my journey into sales leadership. It was a transformative year, full of learning how to motivate and support a team while exploring creative strategies to drive business growth.
Outside of work, I enjoy soaking up the sunshine, exploring local restaurants, and spending quality time with my family—making memories with my husband and daughter, and sharing laughs with good friends.
As I start this new chapter with AOS, I’m filled with excitement, curiosity, and eagerness. My goal is to contribute to our already stellar team by fostering relationships and striving for excellence every day. I’m eager to be part of a company with such a great reputation and to contribute to its continued success.
